WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Global Business Services Center in Warsaw, which provides efficient, professional internal support to Bain leadership and consulting teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We’re a collaborative, friendly, and high-performing team that takes pride in the value we deliver to the broader Bain organization.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Junior GL Accountant, you’ll support the financial operations for our Nordic, Greek, and Turkish entities. You’ll work closely with finance controllers and internal teams, playing a key role in maintaining accurate ledgers, ensuring timely reconciliations, and participating in cross-functional collaboration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Prepare and book journal entries including accruals, prepaids, leases, and fixed assets
Reconcile accounts monthly and ensure accuracy in internal tools and trial balances
Manage bank reconciliations, book and clear bank statements, and report results
Book and reconcile cash collections; identify and correct incorrect AP bookings
Support intercompany processes and liaise with internal stakeholders
Participate in audit preparation and collaborate closely with the AP team

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience or 1+ year in General Ledger
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP)
C1-level English proficiency
Excellent time management and communication skills
